Secretly Preparing to Globalize Money? · November 24, 2008
The global economic crisis has provided the opportunity for globalization of money. You won’t see it tomorrow, but very soon you will see the changes. On November 15, 2008 there was a meeting in Washington of the G-20 nations (the 20 largest economies in the world). They discussed how to counter the global crisis. But more importantly they are calling for a new system altogether. Let the implications sink in.
According to Larry Edelson (and investment advisor) of Money and Markets, global central bankers, government leaders and international financial institutions are working on a plan to do away with the USD, the Euro, and other world currencies, and replace them with three or four fixed-exchange rate currencies that will span the globe. The value of the new currency, he suggests, would be devalued so that one of the new monetary units would equal much less than the current monetary units. For instance in the U.S. it could be ten new units to one USD. The devaluation would not so much be in terms of the relationship between currencies, but in relation to the assets.
Edelson suggests that the purpose of forcefully devaluing the world’s currencies all at once would be to revalue assets and thereby wipe out a substantial portion of the existing debt. The process would be complicated of course, and mechanisms would have to be put in place to protect the new plan, but all at once those with debt would owe a lot less.
Edelson suggests that perhaps 20% of the world’s debt could be resolved through this process and paid for through increased taxes, or perhaps a global tax. The way the global organizers would carry this out is by forcefully revaluing the price of Gold. To monetize 20% of the world’s debt, Edelson says the governments of the world would have to raise the value of an ounce of Gold from its current government book value of $42.22 (quite different from market value) to over $10,000. The obvious implication is that investors should plan ahead and buy gold or other valuable assets.
The degree to which Edelson is correct in his assumptions remains to be seen. No doubt there is something afoot. But with all the talk about the new Amero currency, which could theoretically be imposed on all the nations of the Americas, from Canada to Argentina, and with the G-20 nations calling for a new system, this could in fact be a possible scenario. You can rest assured that these global bankers whom the Bible calls “merchants of the earth,” will certainly do what they have to do to protect themselves and move the world into a new world order. A new world order cannot happen without economic consolidation and control. It could easily be touted as a strong incentive for peace as well as a solution to the economic crisis.
While this sounds like good news for those that have debts, it could also be a major turn of events that would effectively turbo charge the fulfillment of prophecy. Think how much easier it would be for a cashless society to be implemented with its ability to control buying and selling. Imagine how much easier it would be to create international ID systems; track and control commerce trade and travel. Think how much easier it would be to prevent God’s people from buying and selling when there are only a few world currencies and global, or at least regional ID cards.
Here is another side to this scenario. Rome is seeking religious harmony with Islam but she cannot do it if there are hostilities between western “Christian” nations and Muslim nations. If Barack Obama can downgrade the adversarial profile of the United States and the other nations of the West to Islam, the pope could by peace, bring about a great “religious reconciliation” and prepare the way for all the world to wonder after the beast. However, it is going to be difficult to bring about political harmony without economic unity. The current economic crisis will certainly be used to advance biblical prophecy and create a new order of economics more suitable to the objectives of Rome. Consolidation of the monetary system will likely benefit the process of political and religious consolidation. Stay tuned.

Thigs are rapping up for this world but, looking up for us, is jus for God’s people to proclaim the everlasting throughout the world and let the world know about the 3rd angel message

It is good to hear someone finally discussion these issues (i.e. Amero, New World Order) in the SDA Church. Until now I have only heard them discussed as conspiracy theories. Thank You for being a watchman on the wall.

I think this is the best news I have got for a long time. I think all this could happen realy fast as the financial crises gets more and more urgent. There’s nothing worse if a large portion of your countries population is starving or living on the street. Watch the worlds population start screaming out for something urgent to be done when the hunger starts to bite. Regards Sean Andrew Taylor
