Marshall Islands to Consider Sunday Closing Law · February 26, 2010
“Majuro senators Vice Speaker Alik Alik and Wilfred Kendall want to ban most business activity on Sundays to keep that day ‘holy,’” wrote the Marshall Islands Journal on February 19, 2010. “Bill 66 calls for observing ‘the Lord’s Day, commonly called Sunday’ and to “prohibit engagement of commercial activities on Sunday.”
Sunday observance laws are always the replacement for true worship. In the Marshalls, there are, like in other places, those that would like to force religious observance. Please note that the effort, though aimed at Sunday closing and the prevention of commercial activities, includes religious wording to require observance of “the Lord’s day” and to keep that day “holy.” In other words, the foundation is laid so that further amendments can be more easily added to strengthen the religious requirements for all of civil society.

It sounds like the book Great Controversy was written yesterday. It is time for God’s people to give the last warning message like never before. This also means supporting the work with the means we have seeing that “The Coming King is at the Door.”
